2015 COCA Retreat – June 9th & 10th hosted by KPRDSB

Details are being finalized for the upcoming 2015 Annual COCA Retreat.

This event is open to both COCA members and those who are not (yet) COCA members.

Attendees are invited to come for Tues or Wed or for both days.

 

Cost:  Free for COCA Members

Attendees who are not COCA members will be charged $30 per day.

Program:

On Tues June 9th, the hi-lights of the day include:

  • Keynotes from John Malloy (Assistant Deputy Minister – Ministry of Education) & Pauline Beggs (Curriculum Services Canada)
  • Sessions on OSSEMOOC, Digital Citizenship resources, SAMR Resources led by members of the OSAPAC Committee

On Wed. Jun 10th, the hi-lights of the day include:

  • 2015 COCA Annual Meeting
  • hands-on workshop using Mindomo (one of the newest applications licensed by the Ministry through OSAPAC).

Rate and Information:

The discounted rate of $119.00 will apply for our standard city view guestrooms with 2 beds.  Additional room types will be available for an upgrade fee.  Room rates are subject to 13% HST and 3% Destination Marketing Fee.  Guests will have until May 13th to book their guestrooms at the discounted rate and after this time period, our regular rates will apply.  Guests can contact our hotels reservation office from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday to book—1-866-258-5181 is the direct line.  A credit card is required to book.
